String Quilt Class
Beaumont location
This is a beginner quilting class. You will need a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies.
For this class you will need:
*Scrappiness is Happiness book by Lori Holt (we will have several classes using this
book)
*Strips of fabric or scraps in various widths, 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" strips or a jelly roll.
Please bring your scraps and I will show you how to cut different width of strips very fast. If you do not have strips, fat quarters will work.
* Four 9" squares for the foundation (you can cut more for a bigger quilt). Moda's
wide backing is a good choice.
*Rotating mat (optional but so very handy)
*8.5" Square rule
